We work to empower refugees, migrants and asylum-seekers using the best of a social innovation playbook, premised on the pillars of sustainability, economic empowerment through entrepreneurship & socio-cultural integration.
Project Phoenix is a migrant-led European NGO and social enterprise dedicated to systemic change of the inclusion ecosystem. We are currently running a pilot project in Cyprus which has the highest rate of asylum-seekers per capita, in the EU.
Our programming involves an intensive fellowship program, innovative partnerships with other CSOs & legacy institutions to fill gaps that they cannot, and advocacy based on transdisciplinary systemic research.
IDENTIFY
Identify promising, self-sustainable projects initiated and run by talented entrepreneurs with a refugee or migrant background.
SUPPORT
Support entrepreneurs in their projects through one-on-one mentoring, providing access to networks, promotion and financial investments.
PARTNER
Accelerate the integration of refugees and migrants by removing barriers, opening up networks and enabling innovative collaborations.
ADVOCATE
Advocate for policy-change at the national, European and international level and raise awareness through transdisciplinary systemic research
