Arooshe Giroti

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Arooshe graduated from the University of Michigan in May 2019 with a degree in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics and a concentration in Conflict Studies. She is currently on a Fulbright to Cyprus where she teaches English at a high school and secondary school in Nicosia. Additionally, works as a legal assistant at the Cyprus Refugee Council, and teaches English at the Kofinou Reception Center. Arooshe has experience in the international education and legal sector. She taught English in Doboj, Bosnia, worked as a legal assistant in Yerevan, Armenia and volunteered at a refugee reception center in the north of Paris. She thoroughly enjoys working with refugees and migrant families, and will pursue a career in international law upon the completion of her Fellowship in Cyprus.
